We fix it right
With most parts on the van or at our store, many repairs are completed the same day.

Please confirm the details of your coverage with your home-warranty company before your visit. We don't have access to your warranty information, and we can't diagnose the problem until we complete a service call. You are responsible for the cost of the service call; we'll give you an itemized invoice to submit to your warranty company for reimbursement.

Can you fix my appliance the same day?
Often, yes. We stock the largest inventory of appliance parts in the area, so in many cases the part your appliance needs is already in our van or on our shelves. Repairs that need a special-order part are finished as soon as it arrives.
Can I buy appliance parts if I'm not a technician?
Absolutely. Our parts counter at 2843 E. 15th Street in Panama City is open to do-it-yourselfers as well as professionals, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Do you sell appliance parts wholesale to technicians and businesses?
Yes. Independent Appliance sells parts at both retail and wholesale. Repair technicians, property managers, contractors and other businesses can call (850) 763-0656 to ask about wholesale pricing and setting up an account.
Is Independent Appliance an authorized Speed Queen dealer?
Yes. We are Bay County's authorized sales and service center for Speed Queen washers and dryers. Visit our Panama City store to see them in person.
Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?
No. Service calls are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We do not offer emergency, weekend or after-hours service calls.
How long has Independent Appliance been in business?
Since 1982. Independent Appliance is a family-owned Panama City company run by two generations of the Norred family: owners Mike and Debbie Norred and their son Blake.
